Prinsjesdag
Prinsjesdag (Day of the Princes) is the day on which the reigning monarch of the Netherlands (currently Queen Beatrix) addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives in the Ridderzaal(Hall of Knights) in The Hague.
Nothing will change regarding courses, classes are scheduled as normal.
Troonrede
The Speech from the Throne (Dutch:Troonrede) sets out the main features of government policy for the coming parliamentary session. The occasion is prescribed by the constitution, article 65 of which states:
A statement of the policy to be pursued by the Government shall be given by or on behalf of the King before a joint session of the two Houses of the States-General that shall be held every year on the third Tuesday in September or on such earlier date as may be prescribed by Act of Parliament.
The Queen in The Hague
The Queen is driven in the Golden Chariot from Noordeinde Palace to the Ridderzaal (Hall of Knights) in the Binnenhof, which houses the Dutch Parliament.
She will pass LV between approx. 13.00 and 13.15 and between 14.00 and 14.15 hours.
The procession route runs from the Noordeinde Palace via Heulstraat, Kneuterdijk, Lange Voorhout, Tournooiveld, Korte Vijverberg, to the Binnenhof and back again. The Queen and her family depart from Noordeinde Palace at approximately 13.00 hrs. and then the procession begins. She departs again at 14.00 hrs. for her working palace where the balkonscène then takes place.

Public Transport & Roadblocks
The Hague Centre will be partly closed for all traffic. Trams 1, 15, 16 en 17 and busnr: 22 en 24 have an adjusted route. By foot LV-44 can be reached, although there are marked spots where you are able to cross the streets.
