LUC The Hague is building a custom-made facility for student residence. The complex is located at Stamkartstraat, near The Hague's international railway station Holland Spoor, which is only a short walk, cycle ride or tram ride from Lange Voorhout.
Leiden University has developed this building with DUWO, the longest-standing and largest student housing corporation in the Netherlands, with fifty years of experience in the construction and management of student accommodation. DUWO has approximately 17.000 units under their control.
The building will consist of 122 units, a common room, elevator and laundry facilities. Outside there will be bicycle stands and a shared garden.
Each unit will be approximately 23 square metres (7,33 x 3,55 mtr = 23,55m2). The units are fitted with high quality vinyl flooring, curtains and are equipped with private facilities. All students will have their own toilet, shower and kitchen, including a fridge and two hot plates. There will be an internet- and tv connection and ventilation system in each unit.
