Scholarships & Grants

Financial Support

LUC The Hague recognises that all students are individuals, with their own particular circumstances and challenges. We seek to ensure that the single most important criteria for studying at LUC is academic talent and ambition. With this in mind, LUC The Hague will offer a small number of grants to students who might otherwise be unable to make the most of the opportunities we provide. These grants range from fee-waivers (so that particular students do not have to pay tuition fees) to a limited number of full maintenance grants (that cover tuition and living expenses). Students who would like to apply for these grants should mention this on their applications.

Scholarships for Excellence

Recognising that many students will work especially hard in order to meet our entrance requirements, and believing that effort as well as achievement should be rewarded, LUC The Hague also has a small number of scholarships (to be spent on books and study materials) for new students.  These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and recipients will be selected by the Dean of LUC The Hague based on the student’s application documents, especially the application essay.  Applicants to LUC need not state that they wish to be considered for these scholarships – all applicants will automatically be considered.

Dean’s List

At the end of each academic year, a Dean’s List will be published, which will celebrate the highest achieving students in each year. Students who make it onto the Dean’s List will receive an Achievement Awards to assist them with deepening their studies at LUC in the following year (to be spent on books and study materials).
