Financial Support

LUC The Hague recognises that all students are individuals, with their own particular circumstances and challenges. We seek to ensure that the single most important criterion for studying at LUC is academic talent and ambition.

With this in mind, LUC The Hague offers financial support to a number of excellent students who might otherwise be unable to attend. Please note that financial support applications are assessed on a competitive basis.

Financial support at LUC The Hague consists of fee-waivers for example institutional fee, housing or books. Most range between € 2000 and € 7000. As a matter of policy LUC The Hague does not offer financial support for all study expenses.

Conditions for financial support

  • You must have received an offer to study at LUC The Hague

  • You must be in excellent academic and social standing

  • You have not obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree yet

  • You must be in need of financial support in order to study at LUC The Hague

  • All students can apply but priority will be given to non-EU/EEA applicants

Application procedure

Students will only be able to apply for financial support if they have gone through the selection process and have received an offer to study at LUC The Hague. All students who wish to be considered need to request an application form by sending an email to Only complete applications will be accepted.

The deadline to submit the application form and additional documents is the first of May 2016.
Decisions regarding scholarships will be made after the deadline.

Conditions for renewal financial support:

  • You have a minimum GPA of  3.0

  • You have passed the required number of courses and hence do not have any credit shortage at the end of the academic year

  • You are in honourable standing both academically and socially

  • You can demonstrate that your and your financial guarantor’s situation has not changed
