The science programme at Leiden University College The Hague provides foundational training across the natural, social, and life sciences.
This includes a curriculum that provides rigorous exposure to core academic disciplines, including:

Beginning in the first year all students enroll in a thoughtfully constructed selection of science courses within the environmental sciences, social sciences, as well as statistics and mathematics. The first year curriculum provides you with a common scientific framework, whether you continue in the Sciences or Humanities. If you wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc), you have the option of the following 3 distinct majors after your first year at LUC:
You can also pursue a Minor within either of the 3 BSc Majors or complete a self-packaged BSc Minor in Psychology, Green Blue City - Future Proof Neighborhoods (TU Delft) or Business and Entrepreneurship.
Leiden University College draws upon the rich tradition of sciences from Leiden University as well as an international range of scientific expertise. Sequences of courses (tracks) are directed towards themes representative of Global Challenges. The curriculum is designed to provide you with both a theoretical and a practical foundation for considering the underpinnings of society’s major issues, such as threats to biodiversity, global climate change, alternative energy solutions, governmental collapse, social inequality and the spread of diseases. All BSc majors and minors prepare LUC students for advanced study in competitive graduate programs within the Netherlands and abroad, including direct entry into specific masters programs at Leiden University.
